Dr. Santiago originally hails from Puerto Rico, the island where he was born, raised, and where he began his journey into medicine. He studied at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus and completed a bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology.

He continued his medical training at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, where he obtained his medical degree and graduated with honors. He then completed his OB/GYN residency at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York.

During residency, Dr. Santiago served multiple underserved populations and received his Laparoscopic Da Vinci Robotics Certification. He later moved to sunny Coral Springs, Florida, where he continues his career with Comprehensive OB-GYN.
